To say this One Twenty One Design and Build met our expectations is an understatement - They EXCEEDED every expectation we had. They are in constant communication, friendly and on time with their deliverables. They gutted our basement, added a gym and bathroom, and are blown away by the end product. They took every idea we had and made it come to life!

This company gave fantastic HGTV like results! Here are a few things One Twenty One was A++:
1. Scheduling the initial consultation was very easy to do and they were very flexible. They were able to meet us after work hours to fit our schedule. We also have a 3.5 year old and a 4 month old and were very respectful to our time and how crazy it was with the craziness of life happening in the meeting.
2. Phil and Anna just didn't come in and hear what we wanted. They truly sat down with my wife and I to listen to our wants and needs. It was a very comfortable conversation while we spit out ideas to each other. It was a conversation and never at one point felt like a sales call.
3. They were quick in measuring our space (basement) and seemed very respectful to our space and things in it.
4. Again scheduling the next meeting to show us their many designs was very easy. They were again respectful of our time. I believe we had to reschedule one time and it was received with a professional manner.
5. Once we were able to see the designs, WOW! The amount of detail they were able to take from our conversation was crazy! They truly took our personality and made our basement exactly the way we thought it could be and much more. Anna has such a gift in turning an empty space into an amazing space.
6. We were able to see 3 completely different designs in a 3D space. The software they have is just next level. It was really HGTV like and better! To see the 3D space really made it real.
The designs we received by Phil were truly top notch. If I was able to give more stars I would. They treated us like family the whole way. Even though we just got our space designed right now, I truly believe it was worth it! We were able to see the space in a different way we were never able to imagine before. I would 1,000% recommend One Twenty One to anyone!
My husband and I were basically living a real life version of “Love It or List It” when One Twenty One Designs was recommended to us and put an end to our concerns. Spoiler alert: we’re going to “love it”!
We knew we wanted to work with Phil and Anna from the first phone call and that gut reaction was solidified when we met with them in person for the first time. They are extremely personable and authentic. They sat down with us at our dining table like old friends and had a casual conversation about our wants/needs. We felt like they truly listened to us and took the time to come up with solutions that would really address our key issues.
“Phase 1” was deciding on a design where all the walls were where they needed to be. The turnaround was way quicker than anticipated and Phil was easily reachable with any questions/concerns. For example, I realized after our initial design consultation that moving our laundry room to the second floor of our home would solve a lot of issues for us. Phil made it happen for me no problem! His reply was simply, “I love helping solve problems!” And he truly meant that.
We were blown away once we actually got to see the designs in person. Phil and Anna designed 3 options for our renovation and walked us through them using 3D software (like HGTV)! This was especially helpful for my extremely literal husband who couldn’t quite see the vision of what our space could become. With a few minor tweaks taking pieces we loved from each option, we now have the perfect design plans that we’re so excited to build starting this coming May!
I know that “phase 2” of the design/build process where we get to pick out our cabinetry, flooring, etc will go just as smoothly as “phase 1” because we completely trust Phil and Anna at this point in the process and generally just love taking to them! They’ve truly made a stressful experience into something enjoyable. We will honestly miss them when the project is over!
